chan saying his parents were in tears, reminds me of the letter Chan’s mom wrote him in his 7th year.
“Our chan who would call us every night missing us, our son would cry under his breath in hopes we don’t hear” :(
@Actual_Hec But this won’t make the image exactly the same as the original, it will be different, and many people hate me for that. So why waste my time and effort on photos that people will hate because upscales different from the original?
@Actual_Hec People don’t need high-quality photos, they need original photos. I can’t provide that because I don’t literally scan them. I do transcription and upscaling. I take photos or videos of album unpacking and restore the quality using specialized programs.
@pompompurinski@eleven_digits They used AI, and quite a bit of it can be seen noted in the music video's credits. But that doesn't change the fact that there's both CGI and VFX work.
@strawberry_54_ Nah I will never outdo the queen.
No matter how much I improve the quality of digital upscaling, it can't compare to a mechanical scan through a scanner.
The process of working on the upscales. I wanted to share them because the photos are very beautiful.
I won't be publishing any photos from the deadline that I took from unboxing videos of other Blinks until the album is officially released.
@detailjisoo When upscaling, you have to increase the contrast to make it look better, because this isn't a photo taken with a camera, but restored pixels, so it's harder to manage in terms of color correction. That's why sometimes you have to recolor it
