I thought I was done when the season ended. I wasn't ready to announce it, and I knew I needed some time to really decide, but I was pretty sure I played my last game. I was honest at that last press conference when I said I needed to look at myself and deicide if I still love
This is where it all started for Spain, with Luis Aragones.
He pissed people off by pushing Raul out, then shook the world by making Xavi the face of a revolution from La Furia Española to tiki-taka.
Now Luis de la Fuente is adding to the legacy. 😍🇪🇸 https://t.co/72aXjVVRvX
This right here is exactly my thought process too! Just do the basics right and they'll crumble. They aren't even that strong to hold our attack for 90 mins by just banking on those 2 goals.
My only concern is the soap football pitch 😬
People don’t realize it, but a two-goal lead for Simeone is literally the worst-case scenario, there’s no universe in which Barcelona doesn’t comeback.
It creates a tactical dilemma: the margin isn’t large enough to justify a fully defensive approach, yet it discourages proactive attacking football. Thus leaving Atlético in an in-between state - a football Schrödinger superposition, they’re going to rely only on in-between rhythm killers hoping that every 50/50, mini-duel and momenthm-changer goes their way.
Barcelona’s solution is simple, go out there and win, simple.
Sci-fi films, these days, try to awe us with visions of the apocalypse, or else they depress us with visions of dystopia. They try to be intellectual, and sometimes, they try to be profound. In this climate, 'Project Hail Mary' does something so basic that it seems revolutionary. The opening scenes are all about “earth is going to be destroyed”, but soon after, the film turns into the most unexpected buddy movie. The elevator pitch is “Ryan Gosling bonds with an alien to save the universe, and let’s make this with a mix of Spielbergian optimism and the heartwarming humour of Pixar at their peak”. This is easily the best-est time I’ve had at the movies this year. The visual effects are beautifully done, but they are not overwhelming. And the decision to have a non-linear screenplay pays off brilliantly towards the end, because the protagonist is not a space stud. The lesson, if there is one, is that we sometimes need to be pushed in order to realise our potential. Others may see us more clearly than we do. As the alien would say: amaze, amaze, amaze!
Asked someone from the industry whether foreign investors are still interested in allocating to India. The TLDR:
Interest has pretty much died out. India is seen as geopolitically exposed, especially to an oil shock. There are no real AI plays. Valuations are rich. And the rupee situation doesn't help.
On top of that, investors who were sitting on gains have taken money off the table and are now looking at markets like Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Europe etc instead.
He also pointed out that our LTCG/STCG structure and the increase in STT have made India less attractive compared to other markets that are seeing inflows.
If we need to attract FPIs back, and we do, fixing this feels like pretty low-hanging fruit.

Tired, but not giving up! Pls download and share before there is a gag order on me.

At the RNG Awards, Raj Kamal Jha used this striking anecdote to reflect on truth and perception in today’s information landscape.
What seemed like a simple, humorous remark became a powerful commentary on how rare it is to collectively acknowledge what is clearly false.

Today, Bennicks’ sister said something important to @Ahmedshabbir20
Her father and brother were brutally killed by a bunch of policemen who have been convicted for murder now.
Persis pointed out, “My father and brother did no wrong. So we had a lot of public support. Had they been at any fault, we may not have had the same support. But police have no right to carry out custodial torture, regardless of innocence. Whether an individual does something wrong is secondary. The sentencing should prevent this from happening again.”
This is so true. We see custodial deaths so often but people have no sympathy even if the dead person had stolen just a mobile. It then seems okay that they were killed. So many people rejoicing at the verdict today, how many custodial deaths have you condemned irrespective of who was killed?
I wrote this last week to show why the Supreme Court is wrong and how the executive and the Bar played a role in this unconstitutional censorship. Now judges and advocates are calling my university to pressure them to make me "take it down." Read here: https://t.co/AuwinKfxoV
