Your crypto and your stocks, side by side at last. 🇦🇺
Summ has added stocks and ETFs, so more of your portfolio sits in one view, in AUD.
→ Crypto and stocks on one screen
→ Allocation and performance at a glance
→ Your stocks included on your CGT and MyTax reports, right alongside your crypto
→ Dividends and fees calculated and rolled into your reports
Stocks is now live for Aussie investors. Use it for your crypto, your stocks, or both.
Crypto tax is like a jigsaw puzzle.
Every wallet and exchange is a piece. Every transfer is where pieces connect.
Your job: bring all the pieces to the table (you can’t finish a puzzle without all the pieces).
Your software’s job: snap them together. A good tool like @summ_app (formerly Crypto Tax Calculator) will get you 95%+ of the way there if you’ve brought everything in.
Sometimes the software gets the pieces close but not fully snapped in and you just need to click them into place.
If you’ve lost track of some pieces (accounts), Summ even uses the “negative space” to infer which wallets might be yours and suggests them for import.
And if you’re a psycho like me, the whole puzzle-building process is actually… kinda fun.
Anyone have a better analogy for visualizing crypto tax?
