NITI Aayog reports a 44.8% decline in admissions in J&K. This is not just a statistic, it is a warning.

With youth making up nearly 70% of our population and unemployment reportedly at 32%, the sharp fall in higher secondary and higher education enrolment should deeply concern us.

One of the major reasons is the growing sense that education does not guarantee employment, equal opportunity or a secure future. A flawed reservation policy has further deepened the perception of inequality and exclusion among our young people.

Behind these numbers are dreams being put on hold and a generation losing hope.
