There was this guy always failing in school.
People jokingly called him "olodo" and he'd just laugh.

He didn't only struggle academically. He always looked haggard and unkempt, and even lecturers didn’t hide their disappointment in him.

One lecturer even once said:
“This boy cannot amount to anything in life.”

I remember someone also said he would eventually become an agbero.

I saw him recently, and I was honestly surprised.

His situation was completely different from what many people thought.

All of them were wrong.

When I saw this guy, he was actually holding a sack and picking scraps at a dump site.
