@OurShallowState 80 y o friend of my daughter's family was a RABID maga until a few months ago. He was a wounded Vietnam Vet, a business owner and father of 5. You couldn't have a 20 min conversation without him extolling the maga "wonderment."
Now he HATES it all. I don't know the reasons why.

I don't see him coming to justice at all. Too many of the structure that have made America work somewhat as the Founders had hoped, are now weakened or completely under his control. A bigger mind than his is at work. & no Nov election.

I am 80 and never envisoned such a thing could happen. And especially not twice.
Interestingly, as a former news junkie, I find myself not able to watch the news. I can read some of it but to watch it on tv in full color and sound makes me physically sick. Very toxic.
