Rashtriya Desi Beej Kosh (seed bank) for indigenous seeds & endangered medicinal plants was inaugurated on the occasion of #Mahashivratri2023 at the @BangaloreAshram. More than 100 seed keepers from across India participated in this event, with more than 5,000 varieties of seeds.

Over 150,000 people from across 60 countries participated in the #Mahashivratri2023 celebrations at the @BangaloreAshram. Festivities continued into the wee hours of Sunday morning & concluded with Rudra Homa. That night, 152 Rudra Pujas were conducted across 19 Indian states.
