Today, I addressed a one-day capacity-building programme organized by the Bharti Airtel Foundation, State Council of Educational Research and Training, J&K and School Education Department. This programme is a collective pledge and rooted in a fundamental truth that when we empower teachers, we inspire confidence in our students.
When teachers are empowered, students gain confidence. When schools are strengthened, society becomes more resilient and when education moves in the right direction, Jammu Kashmir and the nation advance towards a brighter, safer and more prosperous future.
We must remember that the ultimate purpose of education is transformation. When learning connects with lived experiences, it sparks generational change. The greatest power of education does not lie in exam results but in its ability to change lives. A dedicated teacher shapes destiny. I want schools and teachers in Jammu Kashmir to focus on this aspect and become laboratories of life-building.

Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, #ArmyCdrNC and Mr Binu Nair, COO, Bharti Airtel Foundation jointly launched digital initiatives for capability enhancement of Army Goodwill Schools.

Northern Command and Bharti Airtel Foundation entered into a #MoU under the provisions of which, Bharti Airtel Foundation shall facilitate National Education Policy aligned Teacher Training and establish career counselling cell in schools besides providing digital platforms like Teacher App and a revamped #AGS website.

The initiative reflects the commitment of #NorthernCommand towards the people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh and the co-operation extended by Bharti Airtel Foundation in facilitating the same. It also underscores the #Synergy between #IndianArmy and corporate sector which has helped in brining world class education facilities to the remote & border areas.
