Doug Eddings, an MLB Umpire made a Cardinal player straighten their hat out, then got laughed at and proceed to call a pitch clock violation, eject the manager, and intentionally blow an easy out call at home plate? 😂
Cardinals manager Oli Marmol did not hold back in the postgame TV interview with Chip Caray on the Doug Eddings situation:
"Quite honestly, I thought it was pretty embarrassing on his end. We have a kid making his debut and in between an at-bat he tells him that he needs to fix his hat and the kid's not going to wear his hat like that on my field.
"So, last I checked, this is Coors Field. So, I took issue with it. And then the pitch violation while I'm out there having the discussion, that's also stupid, in my opinion.
"So, there's a lot of moving parts to that one. At the end of the day, I thought they handled it poorly and I'd like an explanation at some point."
Keegan Murray.
De’Andre Hunter.
And now, Ben Simmons.
Sacramento has some options when it comes to defensive versatility.
Of course, we’ll see what Simmons has in the tank, but the Kings need defenders.
Low risk, high reward, IMO.
Just in: Three-time All-Star Ben Simmons has agreed on a one-year, $3.5 million deal with the Sacramento Kings, his agents Max Wiepking, Sean Tribe and Ryan Arney tell me and @MarcJSpears. The one-time All-NBA star is back in the NBA for a 10th season after sitting out 2025-26.

Join us in wishing a Happy 102nd Birthday to the first Black pitcher in Cardinals history, Bill Greason!
Greason grew up in Atlanta and lived across the street from Martin Luther King Jr. before serving as one of the first Black Marines and fighting in the Battle of Iwo Jima.
Following his military service, Greason played alongside Willie Mays with the Birmingham Black Barons of the Negro Leagues before joining the Cardinals organization in 1954, where he helped mentor a young Bob Gibson.
After his playing days, Greason spent more than 50 years serving as pastor of Bethel Baptist Church in Birmingham. Today, as the last surviving player from the Negro Leagues era, his remarkable legacy continues to inspire generations.
Alright. I may be out on Buck after this Stillman thing.
Everything the Titans have done since drafting Cam Ward shows an organization with a direction and purpose of becoming a good football team.
Nothing the current football side has shown is “ineptitude”.
should the titans pull a credential from someone just because they don’t like them?
no.
but should “reporters” abuse their credential access by consistently asking questions that serve nothing but the sole purpose of getting that person clicks, views, & virality?
also, no.
The #Titans are signing WR Xavier Restrepo back to the practice squad, per source.
Restrepo initially made the 53-man roster, but was waived on Monday after the Titans made five new roster additions.
Nonetheless, Restrepo lands back with Cam Ward in Tennessee.
