While no one was watching, RBI has shifted 100 tonnes of its gold reserves back to India from UK. Most countries keep their gold in the vaults of the Bank of England or some such location (and pay a fee for the privilege). India will now hold most of its gold in its own vaults. We have come a long way since we had to ship out gold overnight in 1991 in the midst of a crisis.

For me the most shocking part of the exit polls is they don’t account for a Ram Mandir wave. I believe the Mandir will influence voting & the quantum of the BJPs victory will be bigger than what the exit polls are showing
Dear @INCIndia, thank you for your concern. @EaseMyTrip has halted Maldives bookings from January 8th until today. Some bookings did occur between May 16th - 26th, but we took immediate action and got them removed.
Why focus only on us? Are you not aware of other Chinese-owned travel portals that never stopped promoting Maldives in the first place? We’ve been serving for the last 16 years without any foreign investments.
Yes, you’re right, nothing is permanent—the money will come and go. But our nationalistic approach will never change.
By the way, we are here for the long haul, and it’s not easy for us to go. Hope you understand 😊😊

India has voted!
A heartfelt thank you to all those who exercised their franchise. Their active participation is the cornerstone of our democracy. Their commitment and dedication ensures that the democratic spirit thrives in our nation.
I would also like to specially appreciate India’s Nari Shakti and Yuva Shakti. Their strong presence at the polls is a very encouraging sign.
Surreal. Instead of apologising to Nupur, the cowards at @TheLallantop are claiming they didn’t fact-check her because she declined to come on their platform. Even Modi declines to come on their platform - does it stop them from factchecking him?
Here, I expose these charlatans:
There is no problem with religious fundamentalism if there is no problem with said religion’s fundamentals. India is secular and democratic, to the extent it is, because of Hinduism. So Zia analogies fall flat because Hinduism is not Islam. A taxi driver could have told you that.
#FirstSports: Former Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma has stirred up the debate of privacy. Rohit has accused TV broadcasters for breaching his privacy. From viral chats to humble requests, were broadcasted.
@RuphaRamani gives insights into this heated debate shaking up the cricketing world.
Their words and their promise is for everyone to hear.
They want to deny rights to SC, ST and OBC communities, preferring UNCONSTITUTIONAL Muslim reservation instead.
Modi will not let them trample over Pujya Babasaheb’s Constitution.
In a remarkable turnaround in the last 10 years, India's banking sector net profit crosses Rs 3 lakh crore for the first time ever.
When we came to power, our banks were reeling with losses and high NPAs due to the phone-banking policy of UPA. The doors of the banks were closed for the poor.
This improvement in the health of banks will help improve credit availability to our poor, farmers and MSMEs. https://t.co/wvFCytYUDD
Gratitude to all those who have voted today. Across all the states and UTs, voters from all walks of life have placed their faith in the NDA and our development agenda.
INDI Alliance is losing even more steam, thanks to their regressive economics and outdated votebank politics.
President's rule has been imposed by Congress nearly 90 times.
In the 1960s and 70s, the Article served as a political weapon for the Indira Gandhi.

Keep your violent, flag-burning version of democracy—no thanks. Instead of lecturing India on democracy and elections, the West should focus on liberating its university campuses from anti-Semitic radicals and Islamists, including pro-#Hamas terrorists. #India succeeded where you failed.
