70yo, female presented with small atheroembolic lesions in the left lower limb. She had been a smoker since the age of 17, was hypertensive and dyslipidemic. Severe atheromatosis and intramural hematomas in the descending aorta and abdominal aorta with moderate compression of the superior mesenteric artery.
