We have completed the construction of Kusunlar Memorial Park by protecting the 90-year-old artifacts of the Republic’s history…

We stand by our local producers in difficult economic conditions in order to encourage production and prevent future food access problems.

We have started to distribute barley crush and roughage that we grow in BAKAP to support our farmers. 🌾

This time, we are awarded with the Implementation Achievement Award for their Inner Castle Street Sanitization Project.

We will continue to initiate projects that highlight the history of Ankara and ensure that our citizens are not adversely affected during the processes.

As the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, we were granted with the Grand Prize for Conservation from the Union of Historic Cities with the Roman Theater and Archaeopark Projects last year.

🌍 We attended the “4th International Craft Istanbul Handicrafts and Design Fair”.

🧶 Traditional and contemporary products prepared by our BELMEK trainees under the guidance of master instructors were exhibited at the fair with international participation.

🇹🇷 We congratulate our athletes, of the Under-23 Greco-Roman Wrestling National Team, who achieved the success of becoming world champions for the first time in history.

🏆 THE CHAMPIONS ARE BACK

👏🏻 Our champion athletes 🥇Muhammet Hamza Bakır and 🥉Abdullah Toprak, who competed in the U23 World Wrestling Championship in Albania, have returned home. Our National Wrestlers were welcomed with enthusiasm at the Esenboğa International Airport.

📚 We published the “World Heritage of Ankara: UNESCO World Heritage Sites" book.

We prepared the book in honour of the 100th anniversary of the Republic and the declaration of Ankara 100 years ago, as the capital city.

The delegations then closely examined the two-thousand-year-old Roman Theater, where the restoration and archaeological excavation works continue, and the Ankara Castle, which is one of the symbols of the city's history.

In the 100th anniversary of the Republic and the declaration of Ankara as the capital city, Ankara’s sister cities’ delegations, who attended “The Centennial Ankara Forum”, gave high marks to BAKAP Agriculture Campus and Recreation Area.

We consulted with the mayors and their deputies whom we hosted from different parts of the world, about the problems experienced in the cities.
