@xincominco@IanClar43399494@LedZaid@PatriotArle Are you trying to be obtuse on purpose? They are intentionally not just not using American to refer to... well Americans but also saying it is incorrect to do so.
@xincominco@IanClar43399494@LedZaid@PatriotArle The og post does not use the term as they are currently used and instead uses them as they wish they were used; they are trying to change what the words mean, ie force.
@AnonimusX_ARG@PatriotArle English version:
๐ฆ๐ท Argentina = Argentinian = South American
๐ฎ๐น Italy = Italian = European
๐บ๐ธ USA = American = North American
๐จ๐ฆ Canada = Canadian = North American
๐ง๐ท Brazil = Brazilian = South American
๐จ๐ณ China = Chinese = Asian
@mis_dos_huevos@laughing747@LedZaid@PatriotArle Dumb way to look at languages ngl. Latinx exists because there are people who think Spanish's grammatical gender is dumb. Does that mean using Latinx isn't stupid?
@Troyanomezquino@PatriotArle Sure but the solution to being confused is learning and trying to understand. If I was learning Spanish and got confused by the word "embarazada" the solution wouldn't be to start using the word like if it meant the same as "embarrassed".
@Troyanomezquino@PatriotArle No "Amรฉrica" is literally not a word in English. "America" is tho but that refer to the US. "Amรฉrica" in English is "the Americas".
