Two passions have defined my journey: education and financial inclusion.
As a Board Member of @Camfed, I work alongside an incredible board in advancing a movement that transforms lives by ensuring girls not only attend school, but also stay in school and thrive beyond it. Education is the ultimate equalizer, opening doors for individuals, families, and by extension, communities.
Through my work in financial inclusion, I have witnessed how access to resources sustains this change, helping women and youth turn education into enterprise, dignity, and independence.
These passions are inseparable. When girls are educated and financially empowered, they don’t just transform their own lives; they break cycles of poverty and rewrite the story of what’s possible for generations to come.
I am proud to contribute to this vision and motivated by what we can achieve together.
Education is the foundation, but the @Camfed model goes further: with Mentorship, Business Training, and Community Support Systems that ensure learning translates into leadership and livelihoods.
With @MoPSE and @GPE, this impact can be scaled for national transformation.
CAMFED’s model shows that true empowerment happens when communities lead. This is more than a program—it’s a movement that has the potential, if adopted at scale by @MoPSE and supported by partners like @GPE, to redefine education and youth development in Zimbabwe and beyond.
@AngieMurimirwa Such a tragic loss. Senior Chief Kachindamoto was a force and global role model whose legacy lives on in the thousands of girls who secured their right to learn, thrive & lead thanks to her unwavering support for girls' education and advocacy against early marriage.
Deeply saddened by the news of Senior Chief Kachindamoto's passing. Thank you mama for your tireless service.. for your unwavering love for girls & for your unrelenting fight against child marriage.
Your legacy lives on... Rest in power Inkosi! #Malawi#EndChildMarriage
As a part of our focus on education access we’re spotlighting the work of #SkollAwardee@Camfed (Campaign for Female Education) supports girls in rural Africa to complete secondary school and thrive as leaders in their communities.
@AngieMurimirwa was one of those girls. A CAMFED scholarship gave her the opportunity to complete her education. Today, she leads the very organization that once supported her. Angie’s story is a living example of what’s possible when girls not only access education but are trusted to lead.
She was recently named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People of 2025—with a special tribute penned by another powerful voice in our ecosystem: @Malala Yousafzai.
