One of the biggest reasons for pseudoscience being normalised in healthcare and scientific temperament constantly under threat in India is because of old timer doctors like these.

This whole generation of doctors are the reason why alternative medical practices were never questioned, never criticised and never publicly ripped open to shame and scrutiny.

I hope the current generation of doctors and the future ones will stop behaving like this and uphold science to deserving heights while damning alternative medicine practices and mumbo-jumbo woo-woo practices like tantric garbage and astrology BS to the deepest hell.

Remember education does not equate to intelligence and intelligence does not equate to rationalism. Critical thinking should be a subject from MBBS onwards.

Acharya Prashant’s First Public Session Held in Nagpur: An Unprecedented Welcome

Acharya Prashant’s first public session in Nagpur, held on April 9, concluded with remarkable enthusiasm and energy. Attendees began arriving at the venue nearly two hours before the session, with people from across the country gathering in large numbers, reflecting a deep eagerness to meet him. The atmosphere resonated with chants of “Welcome Acharya Ji” and “Thank You Acharya Ji.” A significant number of people attended the session in person, while over 1 lakh viewers from around the world joined online.

During the session, Acharya Prashant elaborated on profound insights from the Ashtavakra Gita, clarifying the nature of ego, the self, and true religion. He emphasized that real progress happens when one embraces inner emptiness and silence, and that the right use of wealth is that which leads to freedom.

Prior to his arrival in Nagpur, Acharya Prashant had toured nearly 20 cities and engaged with youth across 14 IITs, as well as premier institutions like IIMs, AIIMS, and others. In Nagpur, he is also scheduled to hold special interactive sessions with students at IIIT and VNIT on April 10 and 11, further extending this movement of awareness among the youth.
