Somebody in the administration was jealous of the great airport at Bangalore. They just made it shit with the new parking system at arrivals.
Increased efforts for passengers by walking 1 km after coming out of airport. Going to be a problem for elderly, people with small kids
Time for Rahul Gandhi (again) to step down and actually get Congress to really be the 2nd alternative we deserve. I hope this happens now and Rahul Gandhi is not the hero anymore for Congress.
THE WEIRDEST ELECTION RESULT I HAVE EVER SEEN … #BiharElections
I have no problem in congratulating BJP/ JDU-NDA alliance for their hurricane sweep of the Bihar elections. But I still need to wrap my head around a few intriguing puzzles:
Despite ruling for 20 long and continuous years ( a brief break only in between) under the BJP/ JDU Bihar is:
Worst in poverty
Worst in hunger
Lowest in per capita income
Double digit in youth unemployment
Second highest in Crime ( 953 crimes daily)
81% increase in crime since 2010
High corruption ( 12 bridges collapsed in 17 days)
Extreme backwardness
No new industry and private investment
65% of BJP candidates had criminal antecedents.
BJP wins 93 out of 101 seats contested. That is a hit rate of over 90%.
I still don’t understand this.
You?
I was refraining from responding to your post out of respect but I see the same repetitive, flawed logic running through most of your posts. They’re filled with frustration, hate, and an unfortunate inferiority complex that does more harm to Karnataka than any “outsider” ever could.
Of course, locals should be prioritised and in fact, many Kannadigas are already doing exceptionally well, not just in Karnataka but across India and globally. But let’s also be clear: no law can force private businesses to hire only locals.
Smart businesses naturally prefer local talent because it saves costs, ensures local acceptance, strengthens community relations, and supports local economies.
But when specific skill sets or experience aren’t available locally, hiring from outside becomes a necessity, not discrimination.
Every major business aspires for a national and global footprint, and that requires engaging diverse talent. Diversity isn’t just a corporate policy; it’s a progressive global standard, recognised by the UN and major economies worldwide.
Ironically, many of those you call “outsiders” are the same people who fuel Karnataka’s economy; renting homes, buying property, employing locals, supporting farmers, and contributing massively to state GST and public revenues.
Even a reasonable well-wisher of Karnataka understands that growth must be merit-based, not politically enforced.
Prioritising local talent and welcoming diversity is the balanced way forward. It raises the bar for everyone, builds a stronger economy, and nurtures a shared national identity; instead of a shrinking, isolated mindset that breeds resentment and, eventually, extinction.
Let’s protect Karnataka’s pride with wisdom, not prejudice.
@beastoftraal Why should gated societies allow anyone? Will you allow someone to pass through your home like that? Isnt this the governments responsibility to take care of this? Make a path from outside & figure this out?
The article portrays apartments negatively instead of BBMP.
@ANI There should be strict punishment for administration responsible. Just like we go behind terrorists, these frequent incidents should not be considered any less.
The level of corruption in such administrative posts is insane. Even Peons have 10s of crores
What is happening in the name of vote banks and preserving language. Preserve humanity first if you can
"Its a crime to not speak in marathi"
In case of verbal abusive comedy, our politicians become sanskari and take people to jail and nothing happens on these shameful acts!!
Another shocking incident from Thane – former MP Rajan Vichare (Uddhav faction) summoned traders to his office, got them beaten up by his men, forced an apology, and kept insisting they speak only in Marathi.
Safety of traders cannot be compromised.
Requesting strict action, Hon’ble @CMOMaharashtra@Dev_Fadnavis@mieknathshinde
🎢 Moving from PMF 1.0 to PMF 2.0 is like leveling up from 'starting fire with flint' to 'discovering matches' - it's still fire, but now you can actually roast marshmallows without accidentally burning down the forest. #StartUpLife#StrategyComedy
@elonmusk Boss, don't rip off even your supporters of life long earnings. Where are you taking the world with this. Don't make America great again by making others weak
@BeerBicepsGuy So many morons/goons in this country. I have seen posts where people are now finding dirt even on your parents.
Kiske Paas hai itna time (which ideally should be getting used in protesting against so many other issues)
@AthriBhat@Akshat_World@BeerBicepsGuy This is utter stupid. 1 slip of tongue and such harsh punishment. It's ok, we should move on. Everybody makes mistakes. We still have the fundamental right.. freedom of speech.
@banglani Love your reply. Very well put. Was so frustrated yesterday in the rain. And nobody bothers about infra. The state of infra goes from bad to worse.
