A mother in Kanpur was caught on camera confronting and assaulting her son and his girlfriend after discovering them meeting secretly and eating chowmein on the street.

The son Rohit had told his mother, Sushila, that he was going elsewhere when he left home on his bike on Saturday to meet his girlfriend. Sushila spotted the couple eating chowmein while she was crossing the road.

Alarmed by noticing his mother, Rohit attempted to escape from the scene with his girlfriend, but Sushila caught him and began hitting him with her slippers.
