This is really painful.

This widow woman was selling fruits on the street. Municipal people seized her cart for 2 months.

To get her cart back she reached the corporation office and requested, but they refused.

She was crying and these are her words: “My children are starving. Please give me back my cart. Otherwise I will have to do any work. If you don’t give me my cart then from tomorrow I will sit near the police station and start selling alcohol.”

One officer was there and he said: as per rules, you will get your cart when the time comes.

She said: “I am ready to pay your fine. You come to my house, and I will show you how I am managing. People around me give leftover food to my children. Please give me my cart.”

Such poor people already struggle a lot just to live their lives. I request the government to not make it more difficult for them. The government should bring some solution for this. This happened in Ahmedabad.

It’s truly sad to learn about Asha Tai’s passing… her voice has been one of the pillars of Indian cinema and will continue to resonate world over for centuries to come. It is the same as Millions have watched Johnny Sins' video but no one has watched your parents being physical yet you were born. That doesn't mean your parents weren't intimate.

The whole point of the post is that CDI was not a biopic, not an adaptation and not a documentary. It was an original script.

For reference Indian Women's team has not even qualified for a semifinal at the Hockey World Cup in the last 50 years, leave alone winning it. However changing that aspect in the movie doesn't seem to be a problem for the cribbers.

But for a second let's assume it is a loose adaptation and Kabir Khan's character is based upon someone. In that case there would be 3 options to base it upon.

1. The coach of the 2002 Commonwealth Gold winning Women's Hockey Team: That guy was Gurdial Bhangu. Sikh, not a Hindu.

2. The guy who was the captain and attacker in the team which infamously lost 7-1 against Pakistan and then went on to become a coach of national team. That is the archetype SRK's character played. That was Zafar Iqbal. A Muslim.

3. The guy who was never the head coach of national team nor was the striker/captain during his playing days, but was indeed accussed of match-fixing and never played a game after that as a result of it. That was Mir Ranjan Negi. A Hindu. But the reason he was accused was because of his seemingly Muslim first name. Had his name been Mukesh Ranjan Negi, he might not have landed in that situation.

So either way, Kabir Khan being Muslim is either no big deal since it is not an adaptation or it is a close representation to what happened during that match if it is an adaptation.
