Delhi High Court has sentenced a man Gulshan Pahuja to 6 months in Jail for contempt of court taking suo moto cognizance of the case
This man has been fighting for judicial reforms for more than a decade
He demanded video recordings of court proceedings to ensure transparency
He said he has lost faith in Judiciary and does not expect any Justice
He refused to apologise when asked and hence he's being sent to Jail
In a country where crores of people have lost faith in Justice, it is a common saying ki "Bhagwaan police ya kachehri ke chakkar na katvaye" sending a man to jail for 6 months is actually proving what Mr. Pahuja said - TAANASHAAHI
Koi bhi khilafat nahi kar sakta nahi to jail mein daal denge
This is just so saddening. I hope he gets relief in the Supreme Court

@ChennuSridhar IT will not move beyond Hitec City. Second choice is Financial district which is all empty as well. Neopolis is all residential. It was vouched as walk to work.
2003 - Satyendra Dubey, IIT Kanpur grad, wrote to PM Vajpayee exposing corruption in the Golden Quadrilateral project. Begged to keep his name secret. Shot dead on his 30th birthday.
2004 - Manjunath Shanmugam, IIM Lucknow grad, sealed a petrol pump selling adulterated fuel under PM Manmohan Singh’s govt. 6 bullets. Dead at 27.
2005 - Narendra Kumar, IPS officer, seized illegal mining trucks in MP under CM Shivraj Chouhan. Crushed under a tractor. Dead at 30. His IAS wife was pregnant.
After these deaths, Parliament passed the Whistleblower Protection Act in 2014.
It has NEVER been activated. 12 years. Not a single day.
PM Modi’s govt said it needs amendments. Then introduced amendments in 2015 that actually gutted the law, making it illegal to expose corruption if it touches the Official Secrets Act. That bill failed and lapsed. Govt said okay, original Act is fine then. Still didn’t activate it.
100+ RTI activists killed since 2014. No party is innocent.
Modi’s govt has sat on the protection law for a decade.
@SathiSarva No one is begger here. Every one has a right to live with dignity. If not in KS then maybe somewhere else. But do it legally rather than shouting nonsense.
@SathiSarva Haha. Exactly. Ask your state to do constitutional changes to force people out. Get out of your illusions. Politicians work for themselves. Not you, not me. Maybe instead of making your point here, contact your local mla and ask for change.
@SathiSarva@dpkBopanna That's not how it works. Next time vote for party who says that they will send back the IT workforce and ask them sign undertaking from IT companies to not hire non locals.

- Project Head died by suicide due to payment delays and no further contracts naming officials in his note.
Reason why India can't become a corruption free country
Sunday thought: Why should there be a separate VVIP darshan at Ganpati mandals, especially Lalbaugcha Raja? To block roads/barricade the surging crowds of common citizens only to allow VVIPs to have their darshan uninterrupted is against the spirit of what is meant to be a festival of the people. Bappa knows no difference between VVIPs and Aam janata. If VVIPs want an ‘exclusive’ darshan, Pl ask them to go at crack of dawn, not in peak hours. Reclaim our festivals from VVIP culture! Agree?
