This is the biggest career risk of 2026.
I'm seeing this problem first hand.
"Meat proxies" don't review code when asked. They merely ask AI to do it.
"Meat proxies" don't understand their own code. When asked about it, they have to ask AI to explain it.
"Meat proxies" don't use their own judgement. They defer all decisions and taste to the AI.
Sure, use AI. But don't overdo it.
Be human.
India gets new eyes on orbit. 🇮🇳
Introducing MOSAIC, our AI-powered Wide Area Sensing Architecture, built to search, detect and track hundreds of objects simultaneously, turning observations into orbital intelligence.
Mobile. Autonomous. Built in India for the scale of modern space operations.
Happy Independence Day!
@_chenglou I was part of that team. Basically ChatGPT one year before it came out. Called LMChat and then another codename.
Google was too nervous to release it and DeepMind was blocked from shipping products that could disrupt Google.
I think about this a lot.
What is the best use of the time when agents are writing the code?
I have been always leaning towards X. 😢
I gotta try working on parallel projects now.
Building software by prompting agents without ever reading or editing the code directly isn't actually a new thing. It's just called being an engineering *manager*. We have decades of experience about how to be effective as engineering managers. It is a different skill, though.
@thsottiaux Sharing chat/project conversations between devices. It is annoying that I can't work on the same project with two devices.
The workaround right now is to use Remote, but that completely relies on the other device being awake.
Codex convo history should be repo-aware.
This week was incredibly productive, yet somehow felt like the exact opposite.
@thsottiaux keeps making it harder and harder to max out my usage.
Not complaining. Please do it again next week.
Oops... I did it again.
Enjoy reset usage limits for all paid users for Codex and ChatGPT Work. Super grateful for an incredible team who is iterating at lightspeed and keeping the infra up as we scale faster than ever.
Enjoy the weekend!
Amid all the controversies and lawsuits, @OpenAI has still managed to improve its public image. Largely because it keeps shipping the best models. I love how much people are willing to forgive when you consistently deliver great products.
Finally removed ‘For you’ and ‘Following’ timelines from my X account. Thank you Fable.
Hopefully some guilt free and productive mindless-scrolling from now on.
