The GST Department frequently uses Section 83 bank account attachments as a weapon of intimidation.

Last week, a manufacturing client’s account was frozen overnight with zero notice. The department was investigating someone in his supply chain for fake billing and decided to illegally freeze the entire chain as a "precaution."

How we broke the freeze in 12 days:
1. We filed an immediate Rule 159(5) objection. Most businesses do not even know this statutory remedy exists.

2. We challenged the jurisdiction: Section 83 requires a Commissioner's specific, independent "opinion" based on tangible evidence, not a blanket assumption.

3. We dumped undeniable proof of genuine goods movement and banking trails on their desk.

If your working capital is hijacked by an arbitrary freeze, do not beg or wait for an explanation. Attack the jurisdictional defect immediately.

Absolute inhuman behaviour by a RPF constable who dragged a woman by her hair at Hafizpet Railway station in Hyderabad, yesterday.

Going by the video, the woman was standing near a shop when the RPF constable suddenly launches into an attack, trashing her, slapping her and then drag’s her by her hair.

A man, most likely her husband was seen pleading with the constable while rest everyone are just standing and watching the tamasha unfold.

Apparently, there was a verbal altercation between the woman and the constable over something very silly and the man decided to teach her a lesson by showing his power.
