Great to see Prakash Dadlani calling this out. I have long been saying that Reddit is being used to do psyops on Indians by Pakistan (and other adversaries) for a long time. Hope India is taking it seriously. The current situation seems they are preparing the ground for instigating a lot of Indians into protests and anarchy.

First, they herd Indians into sub-reddits and then brainwash them into wokes and radicals on everything. They take smaller issues and make it into something terrible in the minds of people. They plant fake news and misinformation. Meta is already bad for India allowing its adversaries to psyops Indians, Reddit is worse.

I recently saw the education minister take up some fake news issues with social media. Finance ministry may also do it. But unless India sets up a centralized social media and media monitoring and rapid response cell, with all SM companies under tight control of the state, with strict rules (the way they control Indian citizens free speech with temporary bans and suspensions), I am sure such psyops will cost India economically and politically a lot.
