I was pleased to welcome the esteemed delegation from the @intlcrimcourt: Mr. Osvaldo Zavala Giler (@oszagi), Registrar of the ICC, Ms. Deborah Ruiz Verduzco (@debruizverduzco), Executive Director of the @TFV_FPV, and Mr. Kaupo Känd, Head of the ICC Field Office in Ukraine.
The #ICC's role is pivotal in the global framework of accountability for Russia’s international crimes. We are profoundly grateful for the establishment of the ICC field office in Kyiv and stand ready to offer any necessary support for its operations.
We also deeply appreciate the assistance of the ICC in our efforts to support victims and witnesses of war crimes, in particular the training provided by the ICC’s Victims and Witnesses Section dedicated to a victim-centered model for protection and support in cases of conflict-related sexual violence.
Furthermore, we highly value our cooperation with the Office of the Prosecutor @KarimKhanqc. @GP_Ukraine is fully open to continuing and expanding our multifaceted cooperation with the ICC for the sake of restoring justice for Ukraine and all victims and survivors of international crimes.
