When katara says "because of you, all of the nations live here....together" and aang replies "all except mine"
There is a double meaning in that statement. The feeling of loneliness because his nation isn't here and the guilt that his nation isn't here because of him.
Airbending is an incredible and deeply versatile combat style defined by supreme mobility, constant availability, and devastating hidden lethality
It is easily the most dynamic and agile of the four elements
Sometimes we forget how powerful air bending truly is
This video is peak
Zuko has never been THAT GUY so I don’t know why you people were shocked he didn’t do much. He’s a decent bender at best and an excellent swordsman, but he really cannot square up against people that aren’t fodder
One of the coolest artistic choices made in the new Avatar Aang movie was how the art team incorporated transillumination.
The reddish hue given off when light passes through thin tissue. It's so simple but adds so much.
Buenas noches
Had a lot of fun with these shots! Most of the acting on this project was quite grounded so I appreciated getting to push expressions a bit more.
Big shoutout to the character layout team for the beautiful drawings I got to work with! ^^
This was the last conversation ever held between two Air Nomads pre-genocide. Their final words to one another were: “Then we return to the eternal wind.” It hits even harder when you realize that, by the time of Avatar: Seven Havens, their culture had truly gone extinct.
