The president says he will report NBC's Kristen Welker for "rebuke or punishment" after she described his primary endorsements as having "mixed results."

Trump points to his 100% success rate in Republican Senate primaries where he endorsed and roughly 98% in House primaries, according to a Fox News tracker.

NBC is standing behind Welker, calling her "one of the best in the business."

Five years of NIL deals, transfer changes and antitrust rulings have completely upended what used to be known as amateur athletics, leaving the NCAA struggling to enforce guardrails.

Now Congress is stepping in. A bipartisan push behind the Protect College Sports Act aims to create national rules as concerns grow that the widening gap between college sports' haves and have-nots could eventually force more schools to cut women's and Olympic programs.

Critics see something else: a massive federal overreach into college athletics.
