This "debate" about who should use what toilet doesn’t benefit anyone. It doesn’t fix the underfunding of women's refuges, NHS waiting lists leaving women in terrible pain, mums skipping meals to feed their kids. How about we get on with tackling the real issues affecting women?
At Standing Together, our commitment to inclusion and survivor-centered support remains unwavering.
We stand by all survivors — and continue to champion safety, dignity, and equality for everyone.

This is concerning, we need people working with perpetrators who really understand #domesticabuse and how to keep victims safe. Ensuring that victims are kept safe and perpetrators are held to account is key to ending #domesticabuse and halving #VAWG

We reject unfounded criticisms that detract from vital work to protect survivors of domestic abuse. Together, we support the agenda to halve DA & end VAWG through systemic change and evidence-based solutions.
#EndDomesticAbuse
Christmas is a time for empathy and acceptance. Let’s stop blaming migrants and refugees for the problems in our society — and start treating them with dignity and respect.
📅 Day 9 of the 16 Days of Action Campaign: Reproductive Abuse...
Reproductive abuse, also known as reproductive coercion, is a form of abuse where someone else controls your reproductive choices. Like all abuse, it’s used to gain power and control over you...

It is so important that domestic abuse is investigated and addressed as part of any orders being issued. We know that approx 40% of DA survivors living in social housing have an ASB complaint logged against them. We need to tackle underlying causes as part of this initiative.
As a Jew who grew up just after the Holocaust, I was told we could never again allow genocide to happen. US support for Israel committing genocide shames all of us, and it's our moral duty to do everything we can to fight it. #Debate2024
Housing is integral to survivors escaping and rebuilding after abuse, whether they stay in the family home or move. The #WholeHousingApproach is designed to ensure that LA's have the tools and respurces to provide the best response and meet their Part 4 duty.
We were delighted to hear the Prime Minister commit to ensuring that all domestic abuse survivors are able to access safe and secure accommodation. We look forward to working with govt to ensure that this is made a reality. You cannot rebuild after abuse without a home.

This is why we are working so hard with housing providers to help women access safe and secure housing when refuge is not an option or cannot be accessed. Temporary accommodation is not the answer, we need access to settled and safe homes for survivors to rebuild.
Really interesting piece & important part of the discussion on social workers & need for training on #domesticabuse

See our press release detailing how DA survivors need protection within the #Rentersrightsbill. We will work with our national group to ensure that these protections are included in the new Bill. https://t.co/lQNoMEYtiF
