I finished my PhD at 26. I regret this. Take time off between grad school and undergrad. Live your life. Defer, read, work, explore, party, save, make art, sleep. Don’t rush. Grad school is not the safety net you think it is. The degree will be there when you’re done. Enjoy life!
Picture this: 10 years from now. little cabin in the mountains. Cooking breakfast with the love of your life on your wood stove. Bacon, pancakes, cinnamon rolls & coffee is on the menu. Doggos running around your house. You are happy.
always say please and thank you, treat people well, do what you love, listen to good music, go on adventures, be a good person, and don’t let a human being mess you up.
Life’s too short.
i’m so excited to pass by houses and see their christmas tree through the window, see pretty christmas lights everywhere, watch hallmark movies constantly, drink hot chocolate, hear christmas songs while i’m shopping, wear cozy pjs. EEK it’s christmas time baby. time to get JOLLY
A dude ran a full marathon yesterday in under 2 hours at a 4.5 minute per mile pace

you know that feeling when you’re out in nature at 6am and everything’s still quiet & the air still smells like night time but slowly the first rays of sun peak over the edge of the earth & everything is bathed in foggy, golden light & u just stand there watching the earth awaken
I’m afraid of living a stagnant life. I want to do more, I want to see more, I want to be more. I want to constantly grow & better myself in who I am, in my friendships, relationships, career, in every single aspect of my life. I never want to settle for anything.
