Phenomenal check in experience from @cathaypacific - 9 mins to check in! Completed FlyReady so arrived with docs verified. Confirmed my bags had been picked up and transferred onto the flight. We’re off to a good start!
@gnaeem@tripperhead I’m so mad 😡 Had backup flight with @British_Airways ,tried to cancel it within 24 hrs (per their policy). 7 calls to customer service later, still no luck. Finally managed to get through to BA; now they’re saying I’m outside the 24hr window, all they can give is a voucher 🤦🏻♀️
@Jertom1@tripperhead Travel insurance didn’t help - it would only cover medical treatment and cost of accommodation in UK (but I’m with family so fine). Trying to make the most of additional family time!
@gnaeem@tripperhead My ticket was fully flexible but there was no availability on the dates I needed to match my Q hotel and if there was, I’d have to pay the ticket price difference and flights are a lot more expensive now than when I booked
