@EdinburghUni not only this - the terf group organising the event have a blog on the universities' domain which gives an impression of academic credibility to readers and suggests that the university supports/ encourages their hateful agenda
I'm horrified to discover that @EdinburghUni has permitted a screening of an incredibly transphobic film, maybe drawing in TERFS from across Scotland, AT THE SAME TIME as a visiting Wiradjuri (Aboriginal) trans scholar is expected to speak. I'm beyond disappointment: I'm angry.
After hearing Steven Frank’s story 6 years ago as an ambassador for @HolocaustUK, it was a privilege to host him tonight at @Churchers1722. Once again I was struck by his ability to convey humour and wisdom in the midst of such harrowing memories. Thank you Steven.
As someone seriously considering going into HE I am saddened and angered by @BristolUni ‘s treatment of their staff. Not only is it inhumane but it is also damaging to the future of academia #UCUstrike#UCU@Bristol_UCU
We are working closely with the police in their search for one of our students, Olisa Odukwe, last seen leaving his home in Redland on Sat morning. We ask the public & University community to be alert & contact the police if they think they’ve seen him. https://t.co/rif8cfFIE9
