Every time I watch a musical biopic now, I clock every trope that WALK HARD already parodied. I think it's the most exacting and methodical parody breakdown of a genre in history.

Bruce lost that love early in life, and it de-humanized him for a bit. He finds his way through it and heals in some adaptations, but it requires hanging up the cape and cowl

Definitely some teenage angst/rebellion themes that overlap in there imo — “Knuck if You Buck” made by teenagers was like the anthem of this movement like “Smells like Teen Spirit” — Schools banning the Jeezy the Snowman tees + the whole misfit labeling of grunge style
