One of the most sensible takes on ‘cancel culture’ I’ve seen. Sensible, honest, smart. I’m posting the video directly as Times Radio tweeted it with a clickbait and somewhat misleading headline that unintentionally confirmed his point. More of this please.
Hopefully this is not true but I fear it is and if so it says something very significant about the government's approach (and the manifesto commitment on leveling up)
Thérèse Coffey scraps promised paper on health inequality https://t.co/DHOrJAyrgb
Reports that the long-awaited white paper on health inequalities may no longer be published are worrying. @AMRC charities are already starting to tackle inequalities (https://t.co/vpqAzv62yu) and such an important issue needs commitment from the gov as well
I can’t emphasize enough on the importance of making sure our patients actually understand what we’re telling them. I recently met a pt w/ worsening cancer burden that all this time thought she was getting better because her doctors had told her she was “progressing”.
@trimeginalnerve @BellaRoscetti I don't know either of you, but this has made me smile so much today. Fate indeed. Wishing you both the best friendship!
Access to good osteoporosis care reduces risk of fractures and improves quality of life – but access shouldn’t be a postcode lottery.

Thanks @ollietill for letting me zoom into a few @LDNMedicalOrch rehearsals this term - they slotted nicely into the weeks when @WimbledonSO were wind/brass-only! Any plans to continue letting people zoom in for workshops/rep days in future??
@amysamey @EmilyDPsych@ProstateUKProfs Ah thank you Amy!! It was nerve-wracking but we're so happy for everyone involved. Great to see @mariecurieuk recognised as well. We've signposted to the excellent COVID resource throughout the pandemic. Hope you're well lovely lady 😘
Incredibly proud - although not at all surprised - that @EmilyDPsych's work has been longlisted for a #patientinfo award. Her desire to rework this @ProstateUKProfs booklet and make it the best & most useful it could be was clear throughout the project. Good luck Emily!
