Imagine, a man who wants Jews dead and a Jew who is too scared of the man who wants Jews dead to say she doesn't think he should be a senator! What a great choice! Imagine! I'm imagining. You asshole.
The Calgary Opera has replaced Gabriel Sanchez-Ortega in its production of "Tosca" after he held up a Palestinian flag during the curtain call.
The opera takes place in Rome in the year 1800, when Jews were forced to live in Rome's ghetto and legally could not own property.
It's one thing to stage operas that erase Europe's horrific history of antisemitism.
It's another to use it for a contextless moment of "activism" for Palestine, with no mention of the destruction Hamas has caused to Israelis and Palestinians alike.
The theater made the right call.
I wish I could listen to this podcast three times. If you have the time, do it. I'll try to internalize the nuggets in the next few days. @havivrettiggur@ShMMor@AkaLazarus
@JessicaTarlov You don’t speak for the Jews.
We are not weak-kneed Jews like you.
We are strong. We call out our enemies. We are interested. We don’t want Muslim Brotherhood-linked losers running for office, or in our country for that matter.
Just shut up.

This is the Amber Heard type who destroyed David Sabatini’s life and career. He may have gotten a big judgment against her from the jury, but he will likely have to fight to see even a penny of it.
Meanwhile she gets to continue her illustrious career at MIT as a prof with her own lab.
Disgusting.
Dear President Kornbluth and Chairman Gorenberg,
Yesterday, as I am sure you are aware, a Boston jury unanimously found that @MIT professor Kristin Knouse defamed David Sabatini, falsely accused him of rape and sexual harassment, and tortuously interfered with his contractual arrangements including his tenure at MIT.
MIT and its tenure review committee relied on Professor Knouse’s statements when it took away David’s tenure and terminated him.
MIT's policies explicitly prohibit harassment, retaliation, and fabrication of claims. Falsely accusing a colleague of rape and sexual harassment and pushing for his termination under false pretenses are clearly violations of MIT policy.
In light of the unanimous findings of the jury after five years of discovery, many legal motions and countermotions by both parties, and a three-week trial in Suffolk County Superior Court in Boston:
Is MIT going to take away Knouse’s tenure and terminate her?
If not, why not?
Is MIT going to restore David’s tenure, and apologize for firing him?
If not, why not?
In light of what has transpired in this grave miscarriage of justice, MIT has the opportunity and the obligation to right a serious wrong here.
At a minimum, the public deserves transparency into what actions MIT is taking in this case as taxpayers are major funders of MIT.
Sincerely,
Bill Ackman
