It should be obvious now that smartphones are designed to be addictive. You're not supposed to win. I really think the only answer is to get rid of your iPhone. Genuinely not as hard as it seems and there are increasingly decent alternatives out there.
@dibb_simkin@OctopusEnergy You consistently overcharged us so we spent hours on the phone trying to remedy this. Eventually we gave up &closed our account & got 800 pounds taken from us for doing so. I thought @OctopusEnergy was meant to be a responsible energy supplier but would absolutely not recommend.
@dibb_simkin@OctopusEnergy I don’t know what financial rules you are adhering to when you allow customers to be hundreds of pounds out of pocket for over a month but it is deeply irresponsible and drives ordinary people into debt. @OctopusEnergy energy has promised to repay us for weeks but no sign so far.
@OctopusEnergy please can we have the 600 pounds back you have owed me for well over a month? A week ago it was “two or three days” this kind of irresponsible behaviour drives people into poverty and debt.
@QprSteven hi Steven, I’m a journalist from the bbc - I can’t message you on here but keen to talk - could you send me your email address or email me at [email protected] ?
