This paddock of @pioneerseedsau P0937 corn destined for grain in the Southern Riverina has been cut for silage with the slow summer, slow maturity and good silage prices!
Who doesn’t love a January summer sunrise?
Our AGnVET precision ag team are busy getting around playing catch-up after the season that kept on giving.
Chat to your agro to see what your pH, CEC, P, K, S is at, ground truth and map in house for variable rate applications!
Highlighting the importance of checking grain colour not pod colour in canola this year for windrow timing!! Make sure you check the bottom of the main stems first!! Ask your IKC agronomist if you have any questions #agpack#ikcaldwell
The recent #AGnVET Services #FieldDay held at the #Corowa Trial Site on October 11-12 was a great success. For further information and details about our range of #agronomyservices, contact your local AGnVET, I K Caldwell or Wheelhouse Group agronomist.

INOCULATION OF LEGUMES!! Who can spot where there has been a block?

#cropwalkwednesday SE of Deniliquin today with Moama agronomist Annabel O’Dea getting ready for a grass spray and fungicide application in Faba Beans!
Not only do Faba Beans fix nitrogen, but they also give us the opportunity to throw some different chemistries at pesky weeds
Tackling Glyphosate resistant ryegrass in RR canola with a 2 spray approach in crop and it’s working an absolute treat!
Are you starting to find an increasing amount of Glyphosate resistant ryegrass on your farm? If so chat to an IKC agronomist to come up with a plan of attack!
#cropwalkwednesday at Mathoura NSW this week devising a plan to grow a 5t/ha Roundup Ready canola crop under a lateral!
Who thinks we can do it and who can tell us which of the 16 elements are the most important to apply to reach our 5t/ha goal?
Shorter season varieties may yield lower than the longer season varieties by 1-2t/ha, however, the shorter maturity gives a greater chance for a harvest without high moisture issues and the opportunity to double crop. Great discussion to have with your local IKC agronomist! 🌽
