As I now continue upon my own path in medicine and toward a career in (hopefully) cardiology, I cannot help but to be deeply grateful to have worked with and known Dr. Roberts. He will be sorely missed.
Medicine lost a great physician and mentor this week. I remember sitting across from Dr. Roberts as an undergrad student hoping for a chance to work alongside his research team on my summer break. I nervously watched him scan my resume- “you have the job, when can you start?” 1/
