If u interact with kids of 4th std & above, ask them to teach you something from their textbook. 99% of the kids fail to explain if they are not using their mother tongue. Education system has become remember and repeat.

Recently visited some government and aided kannada medium schools. Government has to work on making it flourish instead of closing it. Most of the developed countries are providing education in their mother tongue.

ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಕೆಲವು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅನುದಾನಿತ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಕನ್ನಡ ಶಾಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚುವ ಬದಲು ಅದನ್ನು ಅಭ��ವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪಡಿಸುವತ್ತ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ದೇಶಗಳು ತಾಯಿನುಡಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿವೆ.
