Perhaps, instead of playing PR theatrics by arguing about terminology such as genocide, President Ramaphosa should do something to address the scourge of murders in his country.
21,000 people were murdered as a result of political violence during the last two decades of apartheid. More than 90% of them were murdered as a result of what the TRC described as 'black-on-black violence'.
President Trump was right. The media has been lying to you.
This weekend, Afrikaners and friends planted 3,000 white crosses in front of the Washington Monument, displaying the names of people murdered during farm attacks in South Africa. Many of these killings included horrific torture and in many cases political motives were obvious.
For decades, our attempts to raise awareness were met with deafening silence... until President Trump spoke out.
When he did so, he was viciously attacked and called a liar. When we campaign against this ongoing crisis, we are told that WE are the problem.
We are grateful for the support we have received from the United States Government.
We have a right to live and prosper in South Africa, because this is our home.
We have a right to be free.
BREAKING: President Cyril Ramaphosa will in the next couple of days update the nation & announce steps on how government will be addressing GBV and recent killings.
The President also mentions an update on arrests and investigations.
This all after 9 bodies were found in and around Kempton Park in recent weeks.
Just last week a 10th body of a woman was found in Soweto.
Police aren’t ruling out a possible serial killer at this stage, as investigations continue.
A female who was found dead in Dawn Park, three people have already been arrested, two women and one man. That seems to be a love triangle.

Even when he knew he was being recorded, he insisted his power and wealth would protect him.
He had no idea how powerful social media can be - and how rightfully angry the country is right now.
BREAKING: 3 people have been called in for questioning regarding the murders and bodies found in Kempton Park.
There is no definitive evidence at this stage to say there is serial killer. Police say they not ruling anything out at this stage as evidence in some cases proves it could be different killers/motives.

Buying votes for cash is deeply embedded in the ANC's culture. Corruption is in their DNA. When people ask me what they should do I say: it is legal for you to accept a gift of money, but it is a crime to sell your vote for money. So take the money and vote DA.
BREAKING: Public health ‘experts’ are advising Americans to consider wearing masks again amid rising concerns over a new COVID-19 variant, NB.1.8.1, and the potential for a summer surge in cases.
I am sorry. I was wrong. The crosses are along the road between the Mokopane and Polokwane signifying the deaths of farmers. And the cars were part of a protest not at Nampo.
