On this day in 2019 Italy Uncovered @theatre503 hosted 5 new plays from Italy. An incredible adventure involving 9actors, a group of translators, 3directors and 5playwrights. We’ll be back soon with a brand new edition suited to the demands of these unprecedented times.

Watched #ShoeLady @royalcourt tonight. It’s difficult to watch something so real and relatable. But I LOVED it. And also felt disappointed that, when it’s a man’s tragedy, if it’s Willy Loman, it’s beautiful, it’s sublime. But when it’s a woman’s tragedy, then it’s invisible.
