The #AI doom crowd says we’re fucked. The anti-doom crowd says it’s a racket. Both would like you to subscribe to their version of reality.
Funny how everyone’s selling a story while claiming to expose one.
PS: #BillGates just joined the group chat.

I market other people’s businesses for a living. For my own, I’ve added a Wonder Woman GIF and checked the post on three devices.
The pipeline is pending. Internal approval is unanimous.
Is there a cape for this?

Another #AI plot twist. We’re going to need a bigger corkboard and more red string.
For now, put the bloody phone down.
Dance like Patrick Swayze. The doom spiral will survive without you. Or read my #Substack.
At least I admit I’m telling you a story. 😉

I love frameworks, and I love being the boss of AI. Leaders are asking me how they check themselves before they rekt themselves with giving too much agency to AI.

Sense - how have you trusted your human intuition recently?
Own - how have you stepped up and owned your personal responsibility?
Unknow - how have you exercised faith to step into the unknown
Locate - how have you been able to locate what is true, right or just and increase meaning in you life, work, or community.
Then go forth and build with the greatest technology of our time!
@AlexFinn Never underestimate the productivity that follows such a hike or a 20 minute quiet coffee somewhere if you just focus on being present and in the now. This is the true unlock.
@jameschutter “always belonged to human beings: to decide what is worth believing, to decide what future is worth building, and to decide which stories deserve to survive” nothing should “take this off your plate”. Never. Ever. 🎙️
@nivi@pmarca I would expect a bit more original thinking from influential folks like @nivi
The irony is that prompts like this are exactly why the humanities matter. Definitions, contradictions, language, context; none of that gets solved by stacking intellectual buzzwords into a paragraph.
The closer we get to work that matters, the louder the Resistance becomes.
In The War of Art, Steven Pressfield describes resistance as the invisible force that rises whenever we move toward meaningful work. It’s the subtle but deadly pull toward distraction, delay, and self-doubt.
It is what keeps us checking messages instead of starting, polishing instead of finishing, consuming instead of creating.

We're on to the next thing faster than an AI reply.
Faster answers, faster content, faster everything. Even creativity gets treated like a factory line.
But the best ideas don't come from forcing them. They show up when you stop pushing.
Take a breath and let the creativity flow.
@Grok knows. There’s a lot of humanity in this post. Let us all use as an example of a life well lived. Because a life unexamined is not worth living. It’s alive!
AI just made content infinite and hyper-addictive. Everyone’s screaming for your attention. Your real edge is subtraction.
My mantra became: “I don’t need an opinion on this.”
Saying it out loud is liberating.
