As many of you know, my campaign has been suspended since December. Today, I am announcing the formal termination of my campaign for Congress.
See the attached press release.
My heartfelt thanks to everyone across the country who supported me.
Great story from @JamesTMadore in @newsday about the overwhelming success of a small business grant program @AnnaMKaplan fought for during the pandemic

Happy Passover!
As we Jews have been saying at the conclusion of the Seder since the destruction of the First Temple in 586 BCE:

Next year in Jerusalem!
Tomorrow, April 2, is Presidential Primary Day in New York. I encourage every registered Democrat who has not already early voted to please go out and vote for @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris.

Let's do this!
I am deeply saddened by the tragic loss of NYPD officer Jonathan Diller of Massapequa Park, who lost his life in the line of duty last night. Our community has lost a hero and a guardian and a Long Island family has lost a husband and a father.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family and the brave men and women of the NYPD.
In the New York State Senate, I was proud to co-sponsor S1047, which prohibits discrimination based on gender identity or expression. That bill was signed into law in 2019.
It's the law in Nassau County too, in case anyone's interested.

Yesterday, Republican @SenHydeSmith of Mississippi blocked passage of legislation sponsored by @SenDuckworth that would protect access to in vitro fertilization in the United States.
Reproductive rights in all 50 states are on the ballot in 2024!

Many of the same Republicans who are saying Americans should have access to IVF have co-sponsored the Life at Conception Act (H.R. 431), that makes no exception for IVF.

Plans for a second Trump Administration include revocation of FDA approval of “chemical abortion drugs,” and defunding reproductive health care for low-income women.

A second Trump administration would attack abortion rights nationwide by leveraging the regulatory powers of federal agencies, circumventing Congress and blessed by courts already stacked with Trump-nominated judges.

Navalny’s murder should remind all Americans of Putin’s true face, not that Putin has ever tried to hide it.
The pro-Putin wing of the Republican Party is as revolting as it is incomprehensible.
Congratulations to Representative-elect @Tom_Suozzi on the huge win this evening. I look forward to working with Rep. Suozzi in Congress to deliver for Long Island families and to protect reproductive rights for all Americans. On to victory in November!
Thanks to Democrats, insulin payments are no more than $35 per month.
If we let Republicans win in November, they will work to undo lower drug prices. Spread the word–we must stop them.
The 2024 election is too important to sit on the sidelines.
From protecting reproductive freedom to fighting the gun violence epidemic, we need leaders who will put the American people first.
Make sure to make a plan and get out to vote this November.
1. This conversation never happened.
2. NATO isn’t a bank - it’s a collective defense agreement where each country spends 2% of their GDP on defense for deterrence.
3. Trump said he would encourage Russia to attack any countries who didn’t pay. Insane.
2024 will be the most important year for reproductive rights since Roe was overturned.
From protecting abortion rights to ensuring the right to contraception, we must elect a Democratic House majority that puts women first. I’ll never stop working until we get it done.
