@eallen36@barbiehines@judyelmore@btsy7 D&E is used most frequently in second trimester but it’s not unheard of in the third in scenarios like OP’s. There are already states working to outlaw it across the board. Women are going to die.
@eallen36@barbiehines@judyelmore@btsy7 ACOG page: “Options for delivery of the stillborn fetus typically include dilation and evacuation or induction of labor”
Definition of D&E: “Dilation and evacuation (D&E) is a procedure to end a pregnancy (abortion) in the second trimester.“

The @GOP have whined about "Sharia Law" as a boogey man, when they are ACTUALLY trying to FORCE their own religious beliefs on Americans. What happened to separation of church & State?? Trust me, most of them will never make it to the Pearly Gates.
Family planning is a difficult enough process as it is. Couples agonize over when to begin trying or what to do about an unplanned pregnancy. Assuming that people are using abortion as birth control is not only wrong but it’s disrespectful and offensive.
I am 34 years old getting married this summer. Even if we start our family immediately I will be considered a geriatric pregnancy. Add PCOS and I’ll be high risk. I personally know 3 people who were deemed unviable in the 2nd trimester and had to terminate. I’m scared.
Roughly 20% of pregnancies end in miscarriage. 1 in 160 end in stillbirth. Pregnancy is not a guarantee that the baby will be born even if we leave things to nature. So many abortions take place because the doctors can see that it’s unviable.
@Toddontheinside @god At this point I’m willing to try that! I used to eat apples every day and today’s was my first in over a year. I miss my favorite snack 😩
