The changes we could make through politics that would rewire our society in a half generation are:
Decouple healthcare from employment status
Decouple higher education from corporate R&D agendas (make learning central goal)
Create meaningful programs to eliminate inequality.

Really good question on the use of AI and data mining and whether it can happen well. MC responds she is not sure that it is possible ethically, particularly when records become data, stripped of context. And yet it will happen, power dynamics remain. #ipres2019
