@clara_bow_ Nifty! How exciting!

[Anna Pavlova @annapavlovaaaaa]

(January 23, 1931) As I lie on my deathbed, I asked to see my swan costume one last time. I will never forget my wonderful life.

[Anna Pavlova @annapavlovaaaaa]

(1931) Bad news is that after wearing only a thin jacket on a snowy day, I developed double pneumonia.

[Anna Pavlova @annapavlovaaaaa]

(1931) Good and bad news! Good news is the train I went on got in an accident; fortunately I was left unharmed.

[Anna Pavlova @annapavlovaaaaa]

(1930) I can’t get enough of dance, so I’m going to ride a train back to The Hague where I plan to continue ballet.

[Anna Pavlova @annapavlovaaaaa]

(1930) My dancing career is beginning to physically wear out on me, so I’m going to take a Christmas vacation.

[Anna Pavlova @annapavlovaaaaa]

(1928) Sadly, the tour has to come to an end, but it was a very ducky tour!

[Anna Pavlova @annapavlovaaaaa]

(1927) Nifty! I just started the European tour and I can’t wait.

[Anna Pavlova @annapavlovaaaaa]

(1926) WIsh I could’ve seen more than a glimpse of New Zealand this year.

[Anna Pavlova @annapavlovaaaaa]

(1925) According to my musical director, my company has traveled an estimated 300,000 miles and performed approximately 4,000 times.

[Anna Pavlova @annapavlovaaaaa]

(1910-1925) My musical director, Theodore Stier, who toured with the company throughout the years is really nifty!

[Anna Pavlova @annapavlovaaaaa]

(1924) I got to film my solo dances in Hollywood by the actor Douglas Fairbanks, Sr. which were in a film called The Immortal Swan!

[Anna Pavlova @annapavlovaaaaa]

(1923) Egypt is the bee’s knees!

[Anna Pavlova @annapavlovaaaaa]

(1923) About to go on tour with my company to Japan, China, India, Burma, and Egypt with the support of impresario Sol Hurok.

[Anna Pavlova @annapavlovaaaaa]

(1921) Not so good! I’m realizing that perhaps I’m too scared to accept roles that I’m not experienced in.

[Anna Pavlova @annapavlovaaaaa]

(1921) For crying out loud! Why do people see me as a dumb Dora? I know I’m not as smart as Tamara Karsavina.

[Anna Pavlova @annapavlovaaaaa]

(1921) Wow! This American tour is going to represent my fifth major tour of the United States in a decade.

[Anna Pavlova @annapavlovaaaaa]

(1921) Special thanks to Sol Hurok for being the main supporter of my American tour coming up!

(1920) Here is a picture of myself in Autumn Bacchanal
