@michael_merrick I took this A Level in English in 2014, and the critical readings on offer (to my memory) were either feminist or Marxist. So in terms of it being progressive, it's been the same or simply broadened out in the last 10 years...

I think she’s totally misunderstood what makes the innuendo in Sabrina’s work so sparkly and enjoyable, which is a core of silliness and camp that a stone cold narcissist is unable to achieve
