In BUS 255 this week we started learning about what an index number is. “An index number is an easy to interpret numerical value that reflects a percentage change in price or quantity from a base value.” @bus_usa
In BUS 255 this week we have continued to work on linear and exponential trends and had a homework assignment to help with our practice. I still need to work on it but I am starting to understand this chapter better. @bus_usa
In BUS 255 this week we learned about the moving around method. This method ranks among the most popular techniques for processing time series. @bus_usa
In BUS 255 this week we learned about dummy variables. I am still trying to get the hang of this but I think i’ll understand it more after doing this chapters homework. @bus_usa
In BUS 255 this week we started learning about the test of significance and the general test of linear restrictions. So far I feel like I am starting to get the hang of them but I definitely need to keep practicing before I will feel good about the new concepts. @bus_usa
This week one of the things we learned about is correlation and how it indicates the direction and the strength of the linear relationship. I’m still not the best with excel but I think I’m starting to get the hang of it 😬 @bus_usa
Right now in BUS 255 we are learning about the ANOVA Test. “Analysis of Variance is used to determine if these are differences among three or more populations.” I am just just starting to learn about this, but it seems pretty interesting so far. @bus_usa
In BUS 255 we are learning about the Jarque-Bera Test for Normality. Since we use Excel with this method I am not the best at it but am starting to understand it more. @bus_usa
In BUS 255 we are learning about the Chi-Square Tests. “Chi-Square is a differences test.” The test statistic formula is shown in the picture attached. @bus_usa
