@LAUSDSup “Prudent financial management” but my school is supposed to return $800,000 of their discretionary funds back to the district?? You’re touting credit ratings while starving our students.

@tombennett71 I taught at a school like this and it was awful. High teacher turnover. Our poor students were so deregulated. There was a ton of $ spent to try and mitigate sound and during the study they found some parts of the building that were as loud as a jet engine.

@LAUSDSup @MayorOfLA @metrolosangeles Perhaps there could be a paper and online permission slip that allows the office to make GoPasses without all the codes or have the cards already made and sent to each school. I love the program and it allows us to go on many field trips, but getting the passes is so difficult.

@LAUSDSup @MayorOfLA @metrolosangeles Please make it easier for students to get their GoPasses. I teach middle school and the red tape to get each of my students a pass is frustrating. The program is amazing but it shouldn’t be this hard.

@LAUSDSup @MayorOfLA @metrolosangeles Since they are under 12 each parent needs to call the school, recieve an email, and tell our office person the code they received. Each student also needs to share their code with the office person and there is not a roster of codes.

@LASchools @DrRivasBD2 @metrolosangeles I love this program! Thanks to parent volunteers my students and I are able to go on so many field trips using the bus. I hope Metro brings back their Transit Safety Program where their safety advocates join us on trips.

2⃣ Calendar changes are mandatory subjects of bargaining.

Yet, @LAUSDSup and the Board are ignoring parents, students and educators and pushing an illegal calendar change to a 2 week winter break.
