No university in Scotland has docked pay for workers participating in legitimate action short of strike of work to contract, not volunteering, not rescheduling lectures missed by strikes etc. Hope @ThinkUHI isn’t aiming for worst employer title? 🤔

So after a threshold busting ballot result by @UHI_UCU ,the employer @ThinkUHI prefers to threaten staff with punitive pay deductions (for action that’s not yet been called) rather than talk to @ucu. We remain open to negotiation to avoid job cuts and avoid strikes #saveUHI
