AD9 is getting great support from a psych but it's opening up big emotional wounds with a lot of CPV recently. Meeting with psych in a few days but in the meantime what are your top tips that have worked for you? Love the collective twitter thoughts #newchallenges#adoption
@adoptedstorks Well done! Any tips on taking charge? We're struggling with that one too - you'll frequently hear us saying we're in charge (or words to that effect!)
@MrMalGM I tried to explain it to an American friend - the obvious response was related to the creators being on drugs! Our LO loves it - & dancing to Macca Pacca. OH reckons the sad tombliboos sounds like Stockhausen #musicgeek
@Ithakas1 Thanks. Everyone is back on solids and returning energy levels! Should have also said I'm grateful for OHs cast iron constitution as he's been chief nurse around here
Things I'm grateful for. 1. There's a chemist just over the road. 2. The sun is shining so the endless washing dries quickly. 3. We're all on the mend #sharinggerms
@jmmt38 3 years for us - but I know we're not typical! Not saying this to put you off, just saying some times life has a habit of getting in the way! But we're here now and our girls have been with us 7 weeks today #ADOPTION#family
@adoptionem Good luck! It was SW number 3 for us that made it happen (in our case it was my father that died). Tough times just make us stronger - we always say, we're still here and still smiling (mostly!) and still together #keepstrong
@_MrsCrumpet Thanks - we've gone for the simplest option of ensuring food is consumed, even if the diet is very limited and rather toast obsessed. A food plan is helping a bit, but there are lots of "just this once can I ...." #masternegotiator
@in_the_nest wonderful! Our girls moved in three weeks ago today - it's been a roller coaster but like you we've been v grateful for the good weather - one is swing obsessed, the other loves slides, not much fun when it's soggy!
