With Covid, climate and other issues, I think part of the denialism problem comes down to this:

»Dear friends, scientifically, this is not a #ClimateCrisis. We are now facing something deeper. Mass extinction. Air pollution. Undermining ecosystem functions. Really putting humanity’s future at risk. This is a #PlanetaryCrisis.«

Does your (EU) country attract or lose top researchers?
AT, CH attract a lot.
FR, DE, BE, ES are open places: as many leave as arrive.
IE is a closed system.
Italy, there is something very wrong: *very* few come, many go.

"If we go past 2°C of #globalwarming, we will enter completely unknown terrain, a #planet that is not even resembling our own planet, a place we haven't been in for the past 3 million years." PIK Director @jrockstrom in @UNFCCC podcast, tune in!
