All that being said, great to be in Haxby today with Rishi Sunak to look at plans for the new train station on the York-Scarborough line. A really exciting project that the Network Rail teams will be working to deliver in the upcoming years.

Well, today was different! 2yrs ago, only able to move from bed to sofa due to mast cell issues & challenging times of previous role, I would never have believed this possible! Am very grateful to a lot of family, friends, specialist & colleagues for helping me get here! #proud

Fantastic to be at Bradford Forster Square earlier this week with @bradfordmdc @SHinchcliffe & the Rail Minister @HuwMerriman for the announcement of £24m investment in a new platform & work on the track & signalling to improve performance. Spades in the ground in the Spring 👍

@Rich_Crabtree A fair portion of this is also going towards a big piece of resignalling outside the station to move the crossover, to allow for reduced dwell times in platforms and the associated performance improvements across Leeds NW services.

Great to visit Leeds Gateway & Mill Goit works @LeedsCC_News @balfourbeatty @MayorOfWY. New Station St. was built over a disused water channel 150yrs ago!Works to strengthen & transform it into a accessible,pedestrianised station entrance with 500 bike spaces are progressing well

📣Hartlepool Station revamp is coming 📣

After a £12million investment by TVCA, the long awaited second platform will be ready to go early next year 🙌📆

Meaning increased frequency of train service, greater capacity on the rail network, and ease getting around the region🚅
